The strongest Pavie in the eighties, this dark ruby-colored 1982 reveals aromas of strawberry jam intermixed with cherries, dried herbs, earth, and spice. Medium-bodied, with beautiful fruit flavors (particularly kirsch liqueur), this sweet, ripe, expansive Pavie has reached its apogee, where it should remain for 10-15 years.
Youthful ruby color, with a garnet edge. Floral and perfumed, with a berry undertone on the nose. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a pretty, straightforward fruit aftertaste.
