This is showing aromas of grapefruit peel, apricots, almonds, chamomile and spice box. It’s full-bodied, textured and spicy, with lively acidity and a firm, phenolic finish. Drink or hold.
Their oldest Assyrtiko vines, 7–8 months on the lees. Unoaked.
Smells deeper than the straight Santorini Assyrtiko but still restrained in its fruit. Intensely stony/mineral. Intense on the palate, too, and with a spiciness that must be the lees influence, even the texture feels spicy. A suggestion of dried grasses. Deep, long and mouth-watering.
