Garnet, with a brown edge. Aromas of custard, berry and chocolate follow through to a medium-bodied palate, with medium-sweet fruit and a chocolate, berry and toffee finish. Turning to tawny. Delicious. '77/'85/'97 blind Port retrospective.

Jancis Robinson (16)

Pale rose red with considerable evolution at the rim. Low-key but quite refined nose. Some violet flavours. Clean, clear-cut nose. Lively with some future. Relatively simple now.
