Distilled at the Royal Brackla Distillery in 2007, bottled in 2020. Royal Brackla is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries. Located in the Highlands, on the western border of the Speyside, close to the town of Nairn, it was the first distillery to receive a Royal Warrant of Appointment from King William IV in 1833.
Color: Mahogany
Nose: Deep and distinctive. A complex combination of dried apricot, beeswax, blood orange, roasted walnuts and dark chocolate. evolving into notes of tobacco, leather and cocoa bean.
Taste: Lively and very rich. It is reminiscent of a freshly baked cake with candied fruit. Quince, apricot and mango. At very the end notes of cocoa, menthol and the sweetness of honey.
Finish: Long and delicate. Subtle notes of tannin and various aromatic plants. At the end, praline, chestnut and candied ginger.
