For a Mosel pinot noir this is so powerful and earthy you could mistake it for a Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru. Stacks of forest berry and baking spice aromas. The ample tannins are already beautifully integrated, but this wine was built for the long term and that’s something one should respect. Very long, savory and earthy finish. Extremely limited production.
