Extraordinary and rather beautiful text-only label from this Jerez producer specialising in the Pedro Ximenéz variety, both dry and sweet wines. Pale gold. Honeyed and buttery on the nose with a hint of spice and orange. On the palate, full in the mouth, textured with a slight tannic grip but only adding depth rather than astringency. Moderate acidity but that texture adds freshness. Really unusual and rather subtle, but persistent and a lightly honeyed finish even though the wine is dry. I really have no idea how this will age so my drink date is a stab in the dark and based on the rather moderate acidity.
