Made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate comes bounding out of the glass with exuberant scents of stewed black and red plums, Black Forest cake and crème de cassis, plus nuances of cedar chest, tar and unsmoked cigars. The full-bodied palate is densely packed with ripe, seductive black fruit preserves layers, with loads of savory accents and a firm, grainy texture, finishing long with a spicy kick. 785 cases are due to be made. (Tasted as a barrel sample.)

Rich and very vivid, with a beautiful array of plum, blackberry and boysenberry confiture flavors that stream through, carried by a racy graphite spine as notes of apple wood, anise, black tea and violet check in through the finish. Features a great tug of earth at the end.
