The staff at Cordier have every right to be happy with this splendidly concentrated, complex, fully mature wine. Tremendous intensity, viscous, ripe, and layered with honeyed, apricot-flavored fruit, this unctuous wine is not tiring or heavy to drink, but lively and effusively fruity.
A vibrant, beautifully balanced wine, lingering on the finish, with good acidity to keep you coming back for more. Medium gold, with lots of ripe apple, pear, spice, delicacy, depth and a fair amount of wood.
Rene Gabriel rates this wine 18/20 points.
