This traditional rum from St Philip, Barbados, is produced at the Foursquare distillery using a blend of molasses-based rums distilled in both column and pot stills. Distilled in 2004, this 14-year-old rum undergoes double maturation: one part entirely in ex-bourbon casks and the other in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. The two parts are then blended together and bottled at cask strength in February 2019 by the Italian company Velier. This rum is a collaboration between Luca Gargano (CEO of Velier) and Richard Seale (owner of Foursquare), with a limited edition of 6,000 bottles released worldwide.
