This has loads of sweet bay leaf, charcoal and smoldering tobacco coursing underneath the fruit, giving this range and a touch of old-school character. More like an '18 in feel, with the terroir proudly on display.

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville Ranch is a stunning wine off this ranch. A vivid, beautifully chiseled wine, the 2019 captures all the energy of this site. Blue/purplish fruit, gravel, crushed rocks, incense and dried flowers race across the palate, lifted by bright salivating acidity and the intense minerality that is such a signature here. What a sensational wine.
