Seemingly fully mature, this wine has evolved quickly. The color shows some amber at the edge. A sweet nose of smoked herbs, jammy cherries, and black currants is intermixed with spice box, cedar, and a weediness. The wine is lush, medium-bodied, and very soft.
Decadent style; almost overpowering. Plenty of ripe fruit along with an aroma of earth and tanned leather. Medium- to full-bodied, with a very earthy and ripe fruit character.
Rene Gabriel rates this wine 17/20 points.
