Very pretty fruit here with blueberries and wet earth. Full body, with velvety tannins and a delicious finish. Pretty acidity too.
Rene Gabriel rates this wine 17/20 points.
Well-focused, with an alder frame harnessing the core of crushed plum, currant preserves and raspberry coulis. Hints of bay leaf and tobacco line the fleshy finish.
Tasted blind. Deep crimson. A little sweet and sour on the nose. Bloody and a bit brutal. Not much follow-through.
