A sleeper of the vintage, this noteworthy effort offers a deep ruby/purple color along with a sweet, expressive bouquet of spring flowers, blackberries, and cassis. Abundant fruit, supple tannin, medium body, and a silky mouthfeel result in an irresistible claret.
Intense aromas of blackberry and hints of licorice. Full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a medium finish. Slightly hollow, yet focused on the palate. Very enjoyable already.
