The 2014 Le Carillon d'Angelus has a straightforward bouquet with redcurrant, cranberry and pomegranate aromas, the oak discretely hidden behind the fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, not much depth, but it retains satisfying balance on the black olive-tinged finish.
The creamed raspberry and plum fruit glides along, with substantial but silky tannins and a long, spice-infused finish. Features a lovely violet hint.
A silky and fruity red with very fine tannins and lovely fruit. Medium-bodied, clean and bright. Second wine of Angélus.
