The 1989 Gloria is a fat, plump, deliciously agreeable wine with a considerable alcoholic kick in the finish. Fruity, with soft tannins, it will be a fine wine to drink over the next 7-10 years. It reminds me of the 1982 at a similar stage of evolution.
wine soon arriving at its peak. Medium-ruby color. Wonderful aromas of strawberries and pie tart. Medium-bodied, with velvety tannins and a chocolate, berry aftertaste
Rene Gabriel rates this wine 17/20 points.
