Cherry preserves, mocha and berry tea flavors fill the core of this full-bodied red. Licorice, leather and orange zest accents gain traction through the smoky, tannic finish.
First vintage of this new biodynamic wine, made in a converted sheep shed without using any modern technology.
Oak is the first aroma, then black olive and chewy blackcurrant fruit. Less substantial than their La Viala, but not lacking intensity. A dried herb sort of note to finish. Not expressing its full potential yet. (RH)
