The astonishing nose of dried herbs, old balsamic vinegar and 85% bitter chocolate drags you into this incredibly concentrated and totally original Lombardy red that tastes as if the 20th century never happened! However, this has an expertly crafted tannin structure that makes it expansive and imposing, but not in the least bit monolithic. Extremely long and complex finish.
