This enchanting Kavalan is especially notable for its juicy fruitiness in the taste and smell. The taste of the malted barley perfectly emphasizes the influences of the Port cask. This whisky is delicious in combination with soft, creamy cheese.
• Nose: Full and mainly red fruit in the beginning, which later turns into darker fruit.
• Taste: Vanilla and exotic fruit complemented by notes of coffee with cream. Tones of burnt wood also come to the fore.
• Finish: Dry finish in which fruit and dark notes alternate.


Kavalan is Taiwan's number one whisky producer and the only family-owned whisky distillery in Taiwan. Kavalan takes its name from an ancient tribe from Yilan Province, northeast Taiwan, where the distillery is also located.
