Huber's 2013 Wildenstein Spätburgunder GG (Blaufränkisch fans, this could be your Pinot Noir!) opens clear, deep and flinty on the nose, with dark and spicy fruit, as well as licorice aromas. Full-bodied and silky, but tight in the mouth, this is a complex, firm, refreshing and salty Pinot Noir. It is pretty complex and firmly structured, with self-confident tannins, a persistent fruit and nice grip in the terrifically aromatic finish. Still young, but very promising.
