Robert Parker (92)

A blend of 44% Merlot, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Petit Verdot and 14% Cabernet Franc, the deep garnet-purple colored 2018 Proprietary Red Cuvee 37.2 comes barreling out of the glass with bold notions of stewed plums, baked blackberries and warm black cherries with an undercurrent of redcurrant jelly, tobacco leaf and forest floor. The medium to full-bodied palate is soft and juicy, delivering loads of savory accents with the ripe, black fruit layers, finishing on a lingering earthy note.

James Suckling (93)

A rich, layered blend of merlot and cabernet franc that delivers lots of blue-fruit and walnut character with a full body, chewy yet soft tannins and a flavorful finish.

Jeb Dunnuck (92)

The 2018 37.2 Cuvee is the estate’s take on a Right Bank Bordeaux, based on Merlot and Cabernet Franc all from Calistoga in the northern part of the valley. Another charming, impeccably made wine from this team, it offers lots of black cherry and currant-like fruit intermixed with notes of chocolate, damp earth, and tobacco. Medium to full-bodied, rounded, and already delicious, enjoy this beauty any time over the coming 8-10 years.
