The 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon starts off dry and cedary, but it adds notes of thyme, sage and cassis with air. It's a solid effort, maybe not quite as brilliant as the 2018, but definitely worthy of attention. It's medium to full-bodied, streamlined and tannic, with a long, dusty finish.
Focused, with cassis, bitter plum and raspberry coulis notes that have freshness and tension, while a mineral edge adds range and cut on the finish. Light-handed toast lets it play out nicely and should age well.
