Very deep garnet purple coloured, this wine displays intense aromas of pure cassis, black cherries, pencil shavings and cloves. The full bodied palate has a great backbone of medium-high acid and firm, finely grained tannins with a generous amount of fruit contributing layers into the long finish.

Smooth and fleshy, with an appealing mix of spicy red currant, black cherry, plum and light cedary oak, joined by a loamy earthiness. Gains velocity and length, while remaining elegant and supple.
