Inviting, with a gush of flattering but focused mulberry and boysenberry compote flavors, which are supported by finely beaded acidity through the hibiscus- and red tea–infused finish. Shows a long mineral echo, too, amid the fruit. Lovely. Drink now through 2030. 248 cases made.

From the Annapolis Vineyard farmed by Paul Hobbs, the 2021 Pinot Noir The Goddess is ripe ruby and displays spicy aromas of pine, pepper, and kirsch. Full-bodied and pure, with good concentration, fine tannins, fresh acidity, and a long finish, notes of red raspberry liqueur fill the palate along with fresh herbs and candied roses. Drink this over the next 10-15 years.
