A supple, picnic-style claret with considerable appeal but no depth or intensity to its flavors, this soft, fully mature wine exhibits plum/ruby color and has an herbaceous, cedary nose of sweet cherries and currants. The wine is medium-bodied, spicy, pleasant, but undistinguished.
A very refined red. One of the best Giscours in years. Wonderful aromas of crushed raspberries, blackberries and other fruits. Full-bodied, with very fine tannins and a long, caressing finish. All in finesse.
Rene Gabriel rates this wine 17/20 points.
