This impressive effort reveals more layers of flavor than most 2007s. Its deep ruby/purple color is followed by notes of black currants, coffee, and white chocolate, medium to full body, surprising density and purity, and a very good finish.
Sweet plum and peach aromas follow through to a medium body, with fine tannins and a solid core of fruit for the vintage. Will open nicely with age.
Rene Gabriel rates this wine 17/20 points.
