The 1995 appears to be an excellent, nearly outstanding example of Beauregard. The dark purple color is followed by a flamboyant, sweet, jammy nose with scents of toasty, smoky new oak. Succulent, with low acidity, gobs of fruit, and fine purity, this medium-bodied, excellent wine will be delicious to drink when released later this year.
A big, concentrated Pomerol. Impressive aromas of green tobacco, fresh and dried cherries and sweet fruit, with a hint of tar. Full-bodied, with well-integrated tannins and a long, velvety, tobacco aftertaste.
