Showing a deep black color and lots of rich concentration, the 2019 Merlot Cabernet Franc Altrovino offers a seamless, vinous quality that allows the wine to glide smoothly over the palate. The texture and mouthfeel of this organic and biodynamic wine are what stand apart, and there is nice freshness to match. Winemaking is in terracotta amphorae, a vessel that winemaker Luca D'Attoma has fully mastered.
A finely crafted and beautiful red with blackberry, tobacco and currant aromas and flavors. Medium-bodied with very fine tannins and a pretty finish. From organically/biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification.
The 2019 Altrovino, Duemani's Merlot/Cabernet Franc blend, is very beautiful. It offers a striking combination of floral aromatics. All the elements are so well-balanced. Dark cherry, plum, mocha dried flowers and herbs build into the fine, delineated finish. This is beautifully done.
Rich ruby with dark core and garnet edges. Fine spicy nose, with notes of blackcurrant, wild berries, a touch of mint and some dark chocolate on the finish. Supple on the youthful palate with firm tannins, juicy and plenty of grip. Long, slightly salty finish.
