The successful 2003 Hosanna has turned out to be a sexy, opulent, medium to full-bodied wine offering loads of berry fruit, licorice and truffle characteristics. There is no trace of dry tannins or underripeness in this beauty. It once again proves that Christian Moueix is a genius in culling out the finest fruit from this estate, which was once known as Certan Giraud.
Aromas of blackberry, forest fruits and licorice with just a hint of spice. Full-bodied, with loads of ripe fruit and velvety tannins. Raisins, toasted oak and just a hint of dark chocolate.
Rene Gabriel rates this wine 18/20 points.
