This wine offers up a gorgeously sweet nose of black raspberry and blueberry fruit intertwined with spicy oak and minerals. In the mouth, it is all finesse and fruit, with medium body, no hard edges, and an excellent, surprisingly long finish. Not a huge, blockbuster style of Pomerol, it emphasizes harmony and richness without the accompanying muscle and tannin.
A solid and well-made wine. Lovely blackberry, milk chocolate and cherry aromas. Medium-bodied, with chewy tannins and a long, fruity finish.
Rene Gabriel rates this wine 17/20 points.
