The 2014 Peby Faugeres has an opulent bouquet with very pure dark cherry and raspberry preserve aromas, blood orange and blueberry emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with rounded tannin, low acidity, very powerful and voluminous in the mouth with a heady, slightly alcoholic finish. I prefer the Faugeres to be truthful, which offers more energy and drinkability, though if you are seeking the bling factor, then opt for this.
Fantastic aromas of crushed berries, violets, licorice and blueberries. Full body, silky and firm tannins and a long and flavorful finish. Such class for the vintage. Powerful.
