A blend of 88% Sauvignon Blanc and 12% Semillon, aging in French oak barriques, 8% new, the 2019 Pagodes de Cos Blanc slips seductively out of the glass with alluring white peach, honey-drizzled pears and lemon tart scents plus wafts of orange blossoms and crushed rocks. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is coated with stone and citrus fruit flavors with soft acidity and a pleasant oiliness to the texture, finishing with a white pepper kick.
This has lots of pear and mango character with some green apple. Full-bodied and layered. Flavorful. Dense. More semillon in the blend.
