Robert Parker (90)

Matured on the lees for 30 months, the 2018 Chablis Vente d'Ange Mise Tardive opens in the glass with aromas of clear honey, beeswax and pear. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, with racy acids and a long, sapid finish, it shows unusual depth and dimension for the vintage.

Burghound (89)

Ripe aromas of both white and yellow orchard fruit, in particular apricot and peach, offer moderate Chablis typicity that include nuances of brine and algae. There is excellent volume to the saline-inflected flavors that deliver fine length on the balanced finale. This is very good for its level and worth a look.

Jasper Morris (89)

The higher sugars in 2018 (13.5% for the finished wine) were much harder to ferment. This is a richer, more powerful wine than the 2017, even a touch heavy in its youth, but with good weight and enough acidity., but the DNA is writ large and I think it will benefit from considerably longer in bottle. This is a food wine for sure.
