The 2013 Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze Grand Cru offers the standout bouquet of the vintage from Pierre Duroché with expressive red and black fruit, hints of sous bois, undergrowth and wet limestone. The palate is fresh and tense right from the beginning: pixellated red fruit, wonderful mineralité and a sense of animation and poise on the long finish. This is a fabulous Clos de Bèze from Pierre Duroché.
