Very old vines. 70% whole bunch. This parcel just 200 m away from Les Suchots. 25% new oak. Barrel sample.
Mid to deep cherry red. Smells ripe, richly fruity with a touch of spice on the nose. A hint of vanilla and richness on the palate too. Dry texture but fluid fruit to fill it out. Seems better integrated and has more flesh on the palate than Les Suchots. (JH)
