Produced from 50-year-old vines that border Bonnes Mares, the medium to dark ruby-colored 1999 Chambolle-Musigny Les Fuees is a medium-bodied, satin-textured wine. Its broad and concentrated personality offers loads of red and black cherries with a long, ripe, tannin-filled finish.
Virtually no nose. Bit tough and uncompromisingly sturdy on the palate, scented but foot-dragging. Everything is there but charm for the moment.
