The 2015 Chambolle-Musigny Village felt primal on the nose, a little disjointed after tasting the comparable from de Vogüé directly before. I just thought it needed to knit together, although that will come once racked. The palate has a sorbet-like freshness on the entry: strawberry pastille and a smudge of raspberry. It is an understated village cru with moderate length. It will speak louder once in bottle.
Light crimson. Simple, transparent, very charming cherry fruit. Nothing at all forced. Very relaxed and fresh. Really charming.
