An interesting hint of orange peel adds an exotic note to the herbal tea and spice-infused aromas of red and dark cherry. There is both good volume and tension to the more mineral-driven flavors that deliver impressive length on the balanced finale. This is very Chambollesque with its lacy mouthfeel and overall, worth checking out.
A bright ruby red with more definition than the Gevrey-Chambertin. The bouquet is on the slimmer side for Chambolle though still with some floral notes, while the wine in the mouth has an excellent fruit acid balance, just a little pepper, and fine persistence. Racy and charming.
