The 2016 Fixin Village has turned out well, offering up aromas of sweet red berries and potpourri, followed by a medium-bodied, supple and charming palate framed by juicy acids and powdery tannins. It's an attractive, comparatively open-knit rendition of Fixin that will offer plenty of near-term pleasure.
Cherry, raspberry and spicy oak aromas and flavors are the highlights of this supple red. Offers ample tannins for support, along with lively acidity. Ends with a cascade of smoky, spicy fruit. Best from 2021 through 2033.
