The 2011 Bourgogne Rouge has an attractive, intense bouquet with scents of kirsch, macerated small dark cherries with the faintest smear of dried honey. The palate is medium-bodied with an edgy, slightly abrupt entry, redeemed by a lovely, crisp brambly finish. Delicious early-drinking Pinot Noir.
