Jancis Robinson (17)

Very opulent and flattering to taste already, although the tannins close in on the finish. Correct, rich and full with overtones of cherry jam. Lively.

Burghound (88)

Quite expressive with aromas of tobacco, earth, smoke and spice followed by supple, round, generous flavors and medium tannins. This is not especially dense yet displays sweet finishing sap. This is very pretty and less austere at this stage than usual.
