Terroir Puisieulx Grand cru, lieu-dit “Les Petites Vignes“. Top soil of silt and clay, on hard limestone, eastern exposure. Pinot Noir planted in 1968-69 of massal selection.
Alternative viticulture practiced on this plot, processing organic certification, in accordance with the biodynamic calendar and with respect for people and environment. Harvested by hand at full maturity.
Vinification Harvest 2019-2020, Pinot Noir, traditional direct pressing on stainless steel maie. Spontaneous natural fermentations. Ageing on lees without racking,in barrels of 228 and 400L for 11 months.
Bottling August 2021 without fining or filtration. Disgorgement October 2023. Dosage 0.7g/L of house liqueur based on perpetual reserve Pinot Noir from the plot.
Tasting Intense golden robe, complex and racy mouth between acidulous red fruits and candied fruits. Length driven by tension and a salty hint, enhanced by a refreshing bitterness.
