The 2019 Coteaux Champenois Mareuil-sur-Aÿ Hommage à Camille has turned out nicely, exhibiting aromas of cherries, sweet berries, cloves and raw cocoa, framed by a generous patina of classy new oak. Medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with powdery tannins and vibrant acids, it boasts more texture and drama than its 2018 predecessor.
