Directly from the domaine, this rare and very sought after 2000.
The 2000 Jurançon L00-C29, in a yellow wax capsule at 17g/L, has a limpid amber colour. It has a very pure bouquet like the 1996: quince, ginger, rhubarb and marmalade aromas, very intense and well defined. The palate has a touch of pétillance, fine acidity with a pleasant waxy texture. The oxidative note flourish towards the finish but there are also attractive walnut and light saline notes that linger on the aftertaste. Tasted at the Joliette vertical in London.
