Directly from the domaine, this rare and very sought after 1993.
The 1993 Jurançon “L93-C90” sports a green wax capsule. It is burnished amber, clear in colour. It has a lovely honeyed nose, Clementine, aszú-like with fine definition. The palate is marked by very sharp acidity, slightly oxidative in style with a flor-like, penetrating and saline, nutty finish. I adore the uncompromising nature of this wine and whilst I avoid food matching suggestions, it calls out for a 24-month aged Comté! Alcohol is 14.9%. Tasted at the Joliette vertical in London.
