From a vintage that was cooler in the northern part of the Northern Rhone than in the south, the 1998 Cote Rotie offers searing notes of pepper, tobacco leaf, flowers, olives and sweet black raspberry fruit. Still focused and tight on the palate, with vibrant acidity in its medium to full-bodied, classically styled personality, it has solid concentration, beautiful purity and a great finish.

Beautiful round, smooth, rich and seductive Côte-Rôtie. Distinctively meaty (with a grilled steak aroma) and floral, black currant and blackberry notes. Full-bodied, with a long and vibrant finish.
