This wine came from a perfect cellar, stored together with a large Chateauneuf parcel and old Burgundy wines. Color is medium red, with an orange rim. The 1954 vintage was an average vintage, but this wine still holds very well. Nice CDP drinking, very fruity, with red fruit and typical spices and dark elements of a Rhone wine. Improves after 10 minutes. Very nice old wine experience.
