Good full, deep red. Musky, inviting scents of raspberry, licorice, white truffle and underbrush. Sweet, thick and nicely balanced, with pliant flavors of red fruits, marzipan, spices, leather and game. This very sexy, easygoing wine finishes smooth and bright, with dusty, slightly dry but ultimately light tannins. Already delicious to drink. Flavio Sobrero ages his Barolo in 25- and 50-hectoliter oak casks.
