A vibrant, elegant red, despite the firm tannins. Reveals prevailing floral, cherry, strawberry and iron flavors as this plays out on the lingering finish. Sangiovese, Merlot and Syrah.

A fresh and bright Chianti Classico with energy and focus. Very typical for the appellation. Medium body. Crisp. Refreshing. Drink now.

Vinous (90)

The 2021 Chianti Classico Pèppoli is one of my favorite wines in the Antinori range. Crushed flowers, mint, orange peel and bright red-toned fruit are wonderfully alive. Pèppoli is not a huge wine, but it surely delivers the goods and is also a very good Chianti Classico with which to understand this young vintage.
