Showing a dark, warm-climate character, the Fico Wine 2017 Per Filo (made with organic and biodynamic fruit) emits perfumes of cherry liqueur and blackberry preserves, with tilled earth, leather and smoked bacon. The aromas are similar to Fico Wines' other wine, called Fico, as both show the extra richness and heft of the vintage. Despite the extra fruit weight, the wine maintains an elegant style and a streamlined approach. There is a hint of dried cherry on the close that adds a spot of sweetness.
