The 2019 Berg Roseneck Riesling GG is another typical wine from the magic Rüdesheim mountain: It is pure, very intense and stony on the nose, with nevertheless ripe and concentrated fruit but discreet fruit aromas due to the eminent mineral notes here. The wine needs a bit of air to show its subtleness. Tight, crystalline, fresh and pure on the palate, there is lot of drive and music in this straight, fresh and elegant wine that is Rheingau Riesling at its best. The finish reveals very fine tannins and good mineral and phenolic freshness. A great wine again from August Kessler. 13% alcohol. Tasted from AP 17 20 in January 2021.

Lemon, white-currant and smoky notes lead you into this sleek yet succulent and vibrant dry white that is crisp yet almost silky in texture. Long clean, mineral finish.
